›What does Utopia Vacations actually do?
We're an AI-powered travel discovery layer. You describe the trip you want, our assistant gathers the missing details, and we surface matching vacation packages from established travel partners. We don't run the bookings ourselves — we route you to the partner so you can complete the reservation on their secure platform.
›Is the AI chat free to use?
Yes. Browsing packages and chatting with the AI assistant is completely free. We earn a small affiliate commission from our travel partners when you book through one of their links, at no extra cost to you.
›Why am I being redirected to another site to book?
Booking, payment, and customer support for the trip itself happen on the travel partner's platform (for example, Booking.com or Expedia). Those companies are the merchants of record and the ones who'll support you if anything changes about your reservation.
›Can I change or cancel a trip I booked through Utopia?
Yes — but cancellations and changes are managed by the travel partner you booked through, since they're holding your reservation and payment. Find the email confirmation from that partner and follow their cancellation process.
›Why does it ask for my departure city?
Trip pricing depends heavily on where you're flying from. Cancun is a great deal from New York and a different deal from Seattle. Sharing your departure city lets the assistant return realistic options.
›Do you have packages outside the Caribbean and Mexico?
Yes — we're starting with the warm-getaway region most travelers want first, but our inventory includes Hawaii, Greece, Costa Rica, and other destinations. Browse the full list on our Packages page.
